SERIES
About the Event Series:
In an effort to bridge cultural divides and connect with Miami's brightest Latin roots, we created the "Sounds of" series, spotlighting two root countries: Cuba and Colombia. Both outdoor showcases took over the backlot at CANVAS and were completely themed as an homage to each country with everything from food and drinks, to on-site pop-ups, decor, and activities.
SOUNDS OF COLOMBIA
Guests were transported across the hemisphere to the vallies of Latin America with a night dedicated to the soothing Sounds of Colombia. We were excited to welcome the Latin GRAMMY-nominated Juan Pablo Vega to the A+E Live Stage with an intimate set by emerging songwriter, Paula.
SOUNDS OF CUBA
There was a community salsa class conducted by Smooth Rhythms Dance and a live performance from traditional legends, Conjunto Progreso. Mouth-Watering grub by Miami Smokers, 305 Cafecitos, and handcrafted cocktails from Airstream Apothecary featuring Beck's Beer specials.
