Going back to its roots, the creative agency, along with Ace Prop House + Studios in Little River, is organizing a vintage flea market. The monthly Tropical Flea will debut on Sunday, April 18, for an afternoon filled with local goods, community love, and sweet vintage finds.

Anyone who has even had a cup of coffee in Miami can probably tell that we do things a little differently down here. We don't eat what most people eat. We don't eat when most people eat. We consume everything differently in general, with different people.

Isabella along with the entire Prism Creative Group team are at the center of Miami’s cultural evolution making Miami less about flashy lifestyles and clubbing scenes. This is no easy task of course, bringing plenty of challenges and setbacks along the way. Miami's ambassador for live music, by way of Atlanta, Isabella Acker, is at the forefront of Prism Creative Group. Through her role, she helps curate a creative community collective in the city.

"We have to educate Miamians," says Isabella Acker, founder of the Prism Creative Group. "Listening to a folksy singer-songwriter is not something most Miamians are used to." Acker, who puts on events, including many acoustic shows, across the city, says she used to feel annoyed and defeated when she noticed that locals were talking through performances. However, she decided that instead of complaining, she would do something.

Apart from the beautiful and unexpected setting, tonight also feels special because its intention is clear. Like-minded neighbors, Prism and Ace came together to provide a rare Miami music experience where the musicians come first; guests are encouraged to keep their phones in their pockets and their voices to whispers during the performances. The result is a room full of Miamians huddled close, choosing to listen together.
