THE MIAMI FLEA

About the Event Series:

For years, the small business, artisan scene in Miami had no platform to connect with the community. Few markets were successful outside of the Farmer's Market tradition, and none focused on hand-crafted or repurposes goods with an all-day vibe.

Thanks to the Arts & Entertainment District, we turned an empty lot into a bustling vintage, handmade, artisanal market every third Sunday of the month for nearly 3 years. It featured makers, local chefs, kids activities, and live music in a free and community-friend open space.

ARTISAN VENDORS
The soul of The Miami Flea was the community of artisan vendors who finally found a support system and a home. Over the course of 3 years, nearly 500 vendors from around the world popped up at The Flea.

GRUB GARDEN
The market also featured a flavorful food bazaar with nearly 20 local eateries popping up to serve the community. A mix of chefs, restaurants, and pop-ups, plus a hand-crafted bar gave the event a real vibe.

LIVE MUSIC & KIDS ACTIVITIES
Each market featured 4 local & regional acts taking the stage throughout the day. That's nearly 50+ artists throughout those 3 years. The event was dog and kid friendly, with tons of activities for the family to enjoy. Arts & crafts, henna, dog adoptions, were among the fun.
