COVID-19 Response

About the Campaign:

With the onset of COVID-19 in Miami we were determined to do what we could to make a difference and have an impact.

We worked around the clock to turn our platform Support Local FL into a resource for small businesses who no doubt were one of the first to feel the impact of the pandemic. From a general online directory resource to weekly digital market for artisans to participate in, we were able to activate small businesses online and support them via our channels.

We were also able to team up with the creative community via our friends at ACEVEDO Aesthetics Corporation to rally designers to get behind the cause in Miami by offering their services for free or at a significantly reduced cost to brick and mortar businesses.

Additionally, we teamed up with the neighborhoods of Coconut Grove and Miami Beach to create cohesive directories of how their businesses could still be supported during the uncertainty of the pandemic. From creating custom community graphics for businesses to use to producing video content for distribution, we were able to merge creative with impact in an attempt to sustain support during COVID-19 and beyond.

Finally, we teamed up with VACO Studio to capture the essence of Miami and its resilience through this time in a video format for all of our city to rally behind.

One such vendor that we had the pleasure of working with was Jeannine of Buena Vista Candle Company. This was her experience:
