A Tribute to Woodstock

About the Event:

The summer of 1969. Moon landings and the very first Woodstock. A season of peace and love, also a time when the center for music and togetherness was located in the beautiful Coconut Grove neighborhood.

Thanks to the Coconut Grove BID, we revived that special moment in the historic neighborhood’s past, and transforming Peacock Park into our very own day of peace and music! We paid paying homage to the epic festival with a Tribute to Woodstock in honor of its 50th anniversary. A day of outdoor festivities to kick off the summer with great vibes, live music, artisan vendors, art activations and all the things we love to gather for.

Guests enjoyed two special 60s tribute sets by Miami’s very own musical songstress, Shira Lee. Complete with folk, jam, and rock-fueled adaptations of Woodstock classics and more. They explored art activations, kids activities, and refreshing summer eats & drinks while taking in the happy Grove neighborhood.
