About the Event Series:
Thanks to Miami-Dade Transit, we were able to take over the Downtown Miami Metromover and turn it into a mobile disco for over 300 riders. Meeting at CANVAS, the riders, and their respective DJs rode the free metro from Schoolboard Station, into Downtown, and looped right back around for a Motown Getdown after party.
It was a silent dance party thanks to Silent Revolution MIA, and featured live-mixed tunes by Myke Dilla, Element, and Tillery James. On top of that, we partnered with Buskerfest Miami to have live music take over three stops. The riders then got off and stepped into impromptu dance parties all over Downtown Miami for a night of epic proportions.
Back at CANVAS, the Motown Getdown awaited riders with more DJ tunes as well as food and beverage pop-ups, and other fun Disco-themed activations.
