The last Miami Flea of the year hits The A+E District this Sunday, December 18th for what will be their biggest community market yet. They’ll have all your usual favorite veterans, intermingled with some of the coolest new vendors ever. From 1PM – 5PM, swing by the 14th ST lot and get all your holiday shopping done in one day while supporting your local maker scene while you’re at it. We’ve gone ahead and broken down all the best gift ideas, check it out:
Let’s start with what all the ladies like: jewels. Nix Jewelry has geometrical, hand-casted pieces that are one-of-a-kind. Daddy Daughter Jewelry brings heavy, vibrant pieces hand-crafted and inspired by the cultures of the world. Dear Viic makes pieces with crystals and stones as the anchor. Kathecuervo creates delicate, personalized and hand-stamped jewelry that can include any inside jokes you want. Pequenas Indugencias brings gold-plated jewels and colorful pieces from Colombia.
Purveyors of Preservation, our heavy-hitters all the way from Boynton Beach bring some of the coolest finds you ever did see. Le Musique Boutique has The Miami Flea’s most eclectic collection of used records at $5 each and in epic condition to boot. Almost Always Vintage carries clothes and accessories from nearly every decade in the 20th century. Napossimus creates insanely cool boomboxes out of vintage wine crates. Stevie Wanders Vintage has a huge collection of vintage finds out of a repurposed school bus (what!). Rumors Boutique is one of Miami’s most legit thrift stores, and one of our favorites.
La Succulenta is Miami’s upcycled queen, she makes homes for succulents out of cafeteras, cans, tea pots and more. Zoom Bloomz will not only be teaching a flower crown and holiday wreath workshop, but also slinging bouquets out of their mobile market. The Tipsy Gardener has a crazy selection of cacti and succulents, even plant butts. Yerbamala Designs will be displaying their hand-made macrame plant hangers and winning you over instantly. Foxtail Terrariums hand-crafts glass homes for some of the most complex plants you’ll see.
DePalma World is just the right amount of Miami cool and undercover chic with sunnies, pins, and all kinds of flare. Must Love Hats may be pretty self explanatory, but really, they’re hats are amazing. Bags from Beyond has handmade backpacks from Cusco and The Himalayas for your inner traveler. OSOM Brand makes upcycled socks with love, and some really great patterns too. Bhoom Shanti has handmade, quality home furnishings and jewelry from India.
For the Dudes
Gentlemanly Inc makes some of the most deliciously smelling beard oils, you gotta sniff them yourself. Cortez MFG has vintage-inspired menswear and accessories that are fresh for all men. Goose & Gander has witty lines and quirky designs printed onto shirts and other accessories for a fun addition to any guy’s wardrobe. TV & Head Co has everything from bowties, wood sunglasses, and lapel pins in a vintage and handmade style.
Art and Prints
Human Writes Poetry is a brand new vendor to The Miami Flea and makes prints featuring powerful messaging. DaveL Art is back after a few months away with his flowy, contour-style pieces that can add color to every home. Noosh Creations will be on-site making some of the best henna art around, even if it’s on your body, it still counts! Watercolor fans rejoice, The Messy Painter, one of Florida’s finest, will be at the Flea with some beautiful prints and postcards. Adoration has everything you need from typography, watercolor maps, and all kinds of adorable paper goods.
