As we transition into the Fall season, Miami’s event game is seriously coming in strong. As well rounded as you’d expect from a city who’s currently undergoing a cultural renaissance, the second half of September’s event lineup has everything from Symphonic mega-shows to Everglades Awareness events. We’ve sifted through quite a few goodies to uncover this golden list of shindigs.

Wednesday, September 16th:

Vino & Vibes – Your Wednesday happy hour is about to get sexier with the smooth stylings of Alejandro Elizondo (of The Wynwoods) at “A Night in Motown”. As usual, enjoy complimentary Barton & Guestier wine for the first hour, gourmet popcorn all night, and celebrate with Buskerfest for a night of live music enjoyment.

Movies Under the Stars – The Arts + Entertainment welcomes back Miami International Film Festival to their Canvas abode for a fall showing of Relatos Salvajes (Wild Tales), the Oscar-nominated Argentinian Dark Comedy. Colony1’s Turnip the Beet! Market – The 4th market festival and educational workshop series is happening this month to celebrate the International Day of Peace with peace-themed workshops all day long. It will be a day of local, farm fresh harvests, educational workshops, tastings, healing, yoga, and live music celebrating people, ecology, connectivity and sustainability.

Cocktail Consciousness – Celebrate National Yoga Month with an event on the Gale Rooftop featuring a yoga class, complimentary cocktail from Absolut Elyx, and free manicures and chair massages provided by Exhale Spa. Who doesn’t like a good yoga and a cocktail?

Everglades Awareness concert – Ploppy Palace Productions and Love The Everglades Movement will be hosting a concert to raise awareness and funds for Everglades protection and public education. As part of this three stage extravaganza, some of South Florida’s top bands, spoken word artists and community activists will join together to raise awareness for this vital natural resource. Suenalo, Spam Allstars, Brendan O’Hara among many others + dance performances, vendors, and so so much more!

Sunday, September 20th:

Only in Hialeah – Join the Leah Arts District for the community block party we’ve all been waiting for, presented by Beck’s Urban Canvas. DJs like Oscar G and Mr Brown will kill it on the decks, murals by 2Alas, Ranier Gamboa and more, Burger Beast food trucks, poetry by O, Miami Festival, live theater by CircX and more! …like there needs to be.

Tuesday, September 22nd:

Slap n Tickle  – There’s no denying that the dudes over at Slap n Tickle have been killing the Tuesday musical game over at Bardot. They bring yet another show-stopping artist to the carpet on the 22nd with Julio Bashmore, one of the sexiest DJs out there right now. Local genius, Pirate Stereo on the support. If you’re looking for an early week party, this is where it’s at.

Thursday, September 24th:

NamasDAY 2015– Celebrate National Yoga Month at Exhale Downtown Miami for their 5th annual yoga party on the Epic pool deck. 3 yoga classes, trunk shows, light bites, sips and sake, complimentary spa goodies, fire dancers, contortionists, tarot cards…basically everything you’d ever want from a yoga jam.

Miami Soul Train and Motown Getdown – One of the most anticipated A+E events is back this month, and by all means it’ll be better than ever. GRAMMY Pro FutureNOW – The Recording Academy Florida Chapter presents an outlet to discover the tools to achieve success from influential tastemakers and thought-leaders in the industry. Through the Looking Glass: An In-depth Conversation with Bob Ludwig, GRAMMY-winning mastering engineer (Beyoncé, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Radiohead) interviewed by Carlos Alvarez, GRAMMY-winning engineer (Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Sanz). Nu Deco Ensemble Concert One – Season One of Nu Deco Ensemble launches with an energizing performance at Wynwood’s own Light Box at Goldman Warehouse. Experience some of today’s most electrifying composers, with the music of Clint Needham, Marc Mellits, Marcos Balter, and Greg Simon. The concert will also feature a new piece by Sam Hyken based on the music of LCD Soundsystem and a special collaboration with Miami’s superstar in the making, Brika. Enjoy complimentary drinks all evening, and an afterparty featuring bites provided by STK Miami and a performance by Eons.

Monday, September 28th:

José Gonzalez at Hollywood ArtsPark – Following a sold out North American tour earlier this year, Swedish indie-folk artist José González returns to the US with his full band – kicking off the tour at the Hollywood ArtsPark, and continuing on to headline dates at Austin City Limits and other major festivals. The concert is held in conjunction with the popular Food Trucks night at the ArtsPark, and is produced by The Rhythm Foundation in partnership with Poplife.

Kraftwerk 3D – The incredible revolutionaries, Kraftwerk will be in Miami for a two-show run in one night! Their first showing at Bayfront is already sold-out so this is a hot ticket item. They bring their MoMa 3D concert to The Olympia Theater at Gusman Center for a late-night set that will be revered for years to come. Don’t sleep, people.
