Community Building

COMMUNITY DRIVEN EVENTS

We fill creative voids through experiential marketing and events. We stitch together the story of a city transforming before our very eyes with experiences that push the narrative forward. The process is simple; the execution is an art. We hone in on the concept, give it legs through compelling content, elevate it with buzz-worthy teasers, and bring it to life.

Live music events at Canvas have become a vital organ pumping support into the local performance sector. From S’Mores Under the Moonlight where bonfires bounce to the rhythm of latin funk, to the charmingly intimate Acoustic Carpet that magnifies the voices of hundreds of singer-songwriters. It’s the concepts that draw attendees, but the music that keeps them smiling with us.

Locals in the city generally do not incorporate public transportation into their daily lives. Or even spontaneous jamming, for that matter. So we’ve created the city’s largest silent disco on the free Metromover, a look into the city’s infrastructure: The Miami Soul Train. DJs curate the ride while live busking occurs at every stop, all followed by an awe-inspiring getdown by some of the city’s best bands to end the night.

In a city focused on the convenience of cars, it’s hard for residents to envision a people-friendly town, accessible and pedestrian-friendly. As a Knight Foundation and Miami Foundation granted Public Space Challenge, the Miami Downtown Development Authority created a walkable promenade along Biscayne Boulevard: Biscayne Green. Over the course of 20 days, we helped bring in over 18,000 attendees with live music, food festivals, wellness programs, movie screenings, and even Miami’s first Puppy Brunch.

Partnering with Universal Music Group, Prism Creative presented a now nationally-acclaimed act as a free concert en plain air: BORNS at The Wynwood Yard. With fans driving down from as far as St. Petersburg, the Wynwood hotspot was filled to the brim with over 1,500 attendees looking for “Electric Love”.
