5 New Treasures Coming to Brickell This Year

July 23, 2018admin

It seems like no neighborhood in Miami is safe from change lately, no matter how fixed in its identity it might be. The great thing is that the entire city is growing together, at a light-speed pace. We have some of the world’s leading businesses, both local and international, making their way around town and it really is an exciting time to be here. Even Brickell, a part of the city generally reserved for finance and subsequent post-work debauchery, is seeing some interesting new things. Check out the handful of big openings coming (or already beloved) to the neighborhood this year:

Sweet Caroline

Back in May, Brickell got its first space dedicated to karaoke and comedy. The locally-driven Sweet Caroline has quickly become a favorite bar for native and travelers looking to break the ice over a shared love of music and laughs. It’s the newest spot in the neighborhood so keep making it feel welcome!

Full Moon Soirée

What? A full moon party that isn’t on the beach? For those of us who want to enjoy the beautiful night sky with friends and live music, you can now take in the festivities on the mainland. There might not be sand but there will be Latin Funk by Spam Allstars, delicious local grub, hand-crafted sips, and a fun community jam. The whole thing’s going down this Friday, July 27th so make sure to RSVP here.

North Italia

Mary Brickell Village is stepping up big time. Aside from the Shake Shack announcement, another big name, North Italia, is opening this fall. This will be the first of the acclaimed pizza and pasta chain’s outposts to open in Florida and people are freaking out. From James Beard semi-finalist, Sam Fox, Brickell’s Italian food game just continues to sky rocket.

Brickell Biergarten

Last December, we launched the Brickell City Centre Biergarten and things blew up in the best way possible. We brought the crowd-favorite back for a special summer edition on Thursday, August 9th. You’ll get down to the sounds of Xperimento and Javier Garcia, munch of sizzling local eats, and of course enjoy beer. Make sure to RSVP.

Singha Brewery

Speaking of beer, Brickell’s getting a huge international player in that department. Singha, the most popular Thai beer has announced that they’ll be opening up a brewery stateside. The spot across from Tacology in Brickell City Centre has been leased to the brand, so let’s see what happens!
