We’re going into the third week of the new year and we have some new artists and music for you to jam out to. Check out our three picks for the week.
With their 90s inspired sounds, these indie rockers have become a powerhouse in the scene. Having been through a huge amount of changes, Now, Now made a comeback this past year. With a fresh sound that incorporates their original style, it showcases their soft guitar synths and subtle vocal manipulations. Their return marks a huge comeback for this duo, who hasn’t released music in five years.
Florida borne and Nashville-based artist R.LUM.R is known for his alternative R&B style. NPR calls his insane falsetto “no joke.” It becomes obvious once you dive deep into his discography why the depth of soul in his music has made him an “Artist to Watch.”
Picking up a guitar when she was only three years old, this one-woman band is a force in the music world. She plays an incredible amount of instruments on her own and being an insane vocalist. It’s no surprise why this young New Zealand talent is now getting notoriety throughout the world. With a blend of psych rock and reggae, her music is masterfully spotlighted by her versatile vocals. Tash Sultana is a can’t miss.
