The week is looking bright as Global Cuba Fest (GCF) 2017 is set to kick off its month-long rumba in Miami and we’ve got official scoop on it.

Let’s back up for a minute – in case you may be unfamiliar with GCF (en serio, where have you been) it’s an event that hits home for many Cubans in celebration to their roots and culture. Presented by friends of Miami Light Project and FUNDarte, GCF brings talent and the most historical Cuban music and dances annually to Miami. The fest sets high expectations for their 10-year anniversary with special guest collaborations and cultural performances.

Catch the highlight of GCF with Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami’s eclectic orchestra, as they dedicate a first-time program to Cuba. With their modern melodies, Nu Deco Ensemble exposes us to innovative classical music on the regular, this time experiencing contemporary Cuban-inspired sounds like never heard (or played) before.

This three consecutive night program will leave us with admiration particularly from special performances by young Cuban-artists Dayramir Gonzalez and Danay Suarez. Setting us back to the 1960’s, take a trip down memory lane con Danzas Cubanas as your hips swing to various Cuban dance styles.

Be part of this musical, artistic ethnic involvement and purchase your tickets before time runs out.
