This Week on Biscayne Green
January 18, 2017
Although the final week of Biscayne Green is upon us, the power of its message will remain for years to come. The pop-up promenade created by The Downtown Development Authority in just a short time has walked its way into the hearts of all those who have ventured out to experience it so, if you haven’t yet made your way, make sure not to miss out on the paradigm shift of an initiative. Only four days left for the greens, check out what’s in store to end it off with a bang.
Take a long lunch break early in the week and eat your midday meal out on Biscayne Green for the last Food Truck Tuesdays with local favorites like Box of Chacos and Ms. Cheezious to name a few. Remember there’s free WiFi so you can work and munch with no interruptions…except the sounds of the bustling city surrounding you, of course.
Who doesn’t love a weekly happy hour right in the heart of our city? Books and Brews is back for the very last time on Wednesday from 5-7PM with The Miami International Book Fair and other local literary favorites. Sip on craft brew from Mac’s Pubs while you sift through the pages of best-selling volumes and connect with like-minded bookworms too.
It all ends with the greatest of bangs on Thursday, January 26th for Biscayne Green’s Last Hoorah, a close-out celebration of majestic proportions. We’ll be setting the stage with the show-stopping Patrick & The Swayzees for a can’t-miss performance followed by the Latin GRAMMY-nominated Latin Funk outfit, PALO! As always the tastes will be on point with heavy-hitters like Biscayne Tavern, Pinch Miami, Doggystyle Hotdogs, Box of Chacos, and hand-crafted cocktails by Mac’s Pubs. Peruse the stalls of artisanal vendors like French75 Vintage, Purveyors of Preservation, Viv’s Waffles, The THX Co. and more. Make sure to RSVP and share with your friends!
