Prism’s (FREE) Miami Yoga Guide
June 6, 2016
I bring to you, your Monday through Sunday guide to free yoga around Miami. Grab your mat, towel, water bottle, and homie. Because what’s a better way to kick-start your healthy summer routine than hitting up free yoga classes in the area. Open your mind, heart, and body to new experiences this summer. This is what community is all about. Disclaimer: the excuse “I’m not flexible” is not valid. Get moving!
Monday: Bayfront Park at The Hills Pavilion at 6p.m.
The ocean front scenery is the perfect compliment to an early evening of relaxation.
Tuesday: Peacock Park in Coconut Grove at 6p.m.
This one is a neighborhood favorite, be sure to get there on time and save your friend a spot.
Wednesday: Monza Avenue and Yumuri St at The Riviera Park, Coral Gables at 6p.m.
My personal favorite, this class always seems to refresh me in the middle of the workweek. Between the music and subtle lavender spray during shavasana, it doesn’t get more intimate than this.
Thursday: Little Haiti Cultural Center. 212 NE 59th Terrace, 6p.m.
Friday: Third Street Miami Beach yoga. 7a.m. and 5/6p.m.
Although not “free” this class is donation based and its mission is to ensure yoga is affordable for anyone and everyone. Fun fact: this class is offered every day 365 days a year.
Saturday: Mayfair hotel rooftop at 8a.m.
It’s an early one but if you plan ahead you can’t beat the rooftop scenery and early morning air.
Sunday: Mondrian South Beach at 10a.m.
Take your practice poolside and enjoy the fresh ocean air to wrap up or start your week.
Here it is your step-by-step guide to free yoga, seven days a week in Miami. No excuses. Get moving.
