To us, this great city is like a blank canvas where we can splatter our creative juice anywhere we can. Instead of paint, we’re helping spread community, blending it in with the cultural pillars that keep us passionate: music, art, film, etc. The end result is a slew of events and happenings, each chiseled with the tools of love that make us quite proficient in bringing people together…if we do say so ourselves.

Every month, our weeks are filled to the brim with events that we’ve either conceptualized and brought to life, or we’ve joined the team for, helping spread the word throughout the city. People always ask us where we’re at week after week, so take a look at our May calendar across Miami:

Friday, May 6th: The Acoustic Carpet – Join us for the first Acoustic Carpet of the year featuring a passionate performance by one of Spain’s finest artists who has now become a Miami staple, Javier Garcia and his talented band. Enjoy grub from Itsa Pizza Truck, delicious handmade cocktails, and brew + gelato provided by Mad Chiller. Tune out the bustling city and tune into an intimate show just for you.

Tuesday, May 10th: The Jupiter Circle Social Media Workshop Series – Join Gaby Guzman of The Jupiter Circle and Anamari Portuondo of The Archive Gallery as they discuss how to turn a space into a real community for connection and shared values, both on and offline. The Archive Gallery of Fine Arts and Collectibles in South Miami has become a hub for beautiful and creative things and experiences, and it has translated into a vibrant and active online presence. Learn the tricks to build the right community and nurture those relationships as they become active supporters of your business.

Thursday, May 12th: Live at The Yard – We’re excited to welcome the Latin Grammy-nominated and local favorite, PALO! on the stage for what will be an electrifying performance with an opening set by Sofy & Andres (of Elastic Bond). The New Tropic will be throwing down a mean Dominoes competition, so make sure to bring your A-game. Take your pick of all the delicious offerings at each culinary pop-up on-site, and sip refreshing cocktails by Mortar & Pistil for a perfect weeknight jam. Be the friend that knows where it’s at!

Sunday, May 22nd: The Miami Flea – Swing by and enjoy the local community with a Bookleggers Library pop-up, and the Frost Science Museum take-home bird feeder workshop. Adopt a puppy at Jamie’s Dog Rescue and stop by the kid’s corner by Little Creative Souls for some creative crafts, and face painting. There will be henna galore, vintage treasures, vinyl, and more thrift finds that every before. A+E will be curating our very own “Grub Garden” featuring the city’s best eateries and local delicacies.

Thursday, May 26th: Canvas Unplugged Sessions – Swing by The Canvas Miami backlot for an awe-inspiring view of the A+E District while we are dazed as the local powerhouse, Fantine takes the stage for a live performance you won’t want to miss. Enjoy hand-crafted sips to wash down the city’s magic. Be sure to RSVP as it will be strictly enforced due to capacity.

Saturday, May 28th: The Raddest Craft Fair – Artists and creatives of all levels and excitement are invited to our first ever Raddest Craft Fair at The Wynwood Yard. Spend a breezy Saturday awakening your inner child with a complete lineup of innovative and hands-on workshops that will bring out the budding creator inside of you. We’ll be bringing every type of craft under the sun from watercolor, to calligraphy, macrame and more. Plus, enjoy live music by charming local songwriters Bryant Del Toro and Ella Herrera, and a Tropicult grub pop-up launching the Savory Sinderella food zine: Savory Sin.
