Lively Steps NAH/NO Pop-Up Party – MCAD’s Miami Foundation Public Space Challenge Project featuring sounds by DJ Woozles and Dani Champagne, visuals by Yung Algebra, plus complimentary booze by Ziobaffa Wines and Lucky Buddha Beer.

Northside Innovation Meetup – “For Good: The Value of Social Entrepreneurship”. Powered by Dell and Intel, The LAB Miami has brought together some of today’s the brightest minds to discuss sustainable and socially minded startups. Entrepreneurs, accelerators, and community leaders will breakdown what social change and urban living means to them.

Tuesday, May 5th:
A+E Performance Pavilion produced by Miami’s Independent Thinkers and pre-show happy hour hosted by Tropicult. Enjoy drink specials including $4 margaritas for a Cinco de Mayo treat before being amazed with provocative aerial acts, risky burlesque, and interactive crowd games. Pretty show-stopping way to spend a Tuesday.

Friday, May 8th:
Mat Kearney at Revolution Live. Enjoy the unique stylings of the Nashville-based musician whose sharp lyrics will pierce a hole into your soul. In a good way. Opening for him will be Judah & the Lion, which will definitely be a show-starter.

Romeo and Juliet Outside the Box presented by YoungArts. Two YoungArts alumni, Tarell Alvin McCraney (Theatre) and Andrew Hevia (Cinematic Arts) will bring together some of Miami’s electric performance artists, including dancers from the Miami City Ballet and Gentry George, appearing courtesy of Peter London Global Dance Project, to recreate an interactive evening inspired by Romeo and Juliet.

Monday, May 11th:
Mantra Monday Yoga at The Freehand Hostel. Every Monday, enjoy a soothing yoga session on the beach across from The Freehand (Broken Shaker for you socialites) with locals and hostel-stayers alike. After the class, head back over to The Freehand and take in some Happy Hour specials. Just show up with a towel and positive energy. Also clothes.

Thursday, May 14th:
Dance Band Night presented by The Rhythm Foundation. Embarking on a new event series, part concert, part dance lesson, The North Beach Bandshell will become a ballroom under the stars on the second Thursday of every month. Featuring the Jazz sounds of The French Horn Trio and lessons by world champion team, Yuval and Julia.
